Information Collection and Use

Basic Account Information: When you create or manage your account, you provide personal information, such as your name, address, email address, password, and/or phone number. Within the Services your name and profile picture are listed publicly, including in search results, your profile page, and Church and Ministry follower listings. These listings may not require registration to view.

Contact Information: You may use your contact information, including address, phone number, and email address to customize your account. You agree to allow us to use your contact information to send you information about our Services, to market to you, prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and help others find your account and connect, including third party services and applications. You may control your account settings to manage the notifications you receive from the SparkFellowship Services. You may also unsubscribe from a notification by following the instructions within the correspondence. Your account privacy settings control who can view your information and who or whether others can view your information on the SparkFellowship services.

Additional Information: You may choose to share additional information within the SparkFellowship Services, such as a biography, your location, a profile picture, or your family relationships and status. Providing the additional information addressed in this section is optional.

Posts, Following, Groups: Our services are designed to help you connect with Christians. Most of the information you provide us through the SparkFellowship Services is intended to be shared with other users. Posts to Church, Ministry, or Small Group profiles are public to other followers of such entities, as well as the metadata associated with such posts, including date and time and timezone associated with your account. In addition, the Churches, Ministries, or Small Groups you follow will be publicly available to other followers of the same Church, Ministry, or Small Group. Administrators of a Church or Ministry will also be able to view when you follow a Small Group under the umbrella of that Church or Ministry. Please understand the extent of the audience when you share information with SparkFellowship and exercise caution when sharing personal information or content, such as text, photos, videos, or links.

Location: SparkFellowship may collect information about your location. We may collect this information from your account information, data from your device (such as GPS location), wireless network or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address. We may store and use your location information to provide features of the SparkFellowship Services and improve and customize the Services to you. For example, we may display upcoming events in your community that are located in proximity to you.

Links: SparkFellowship may track how you interact with links across the Services, including the website, email notifications, third party services, and applications, by redirecting clicks or other means. We do so to improve the Services, track statistical performance, and provide relevant content to you.
Cookies: Like many websites, SparkFellowship uses cookies to collect website usage data, store data, and improve the Services. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred and stored on your computer or mobile device. We do not require cookies to view Church and Ministry profiles, although some features of the Service will be reserved or withheld for registered users who have logged in. We may use session and persistent cookies to understand how you interact with the Services, to monitor usage and web traffic routing on our Services, and to improve and customize the Services. Most Internet browsers accept cookies by default, but you modify your browser's settings to stop accepting cookies or prompt you before accepting them. Some Services may not function properly if you disable cookies.

Log Data: When you use the Services, SparkFellowship receives and logs information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring web page, pages visited, location, mobile carrier, device information, search terms, and cookie information (collectively "Log Data"). Commerce Services: You may provide your payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address (collectively, "Payment Information"), along with your billing address, to complete a commerce transaction through our Services, sometimes referred to as Online Giving or Donation. You may also provide your credit or debit card number to register for card-linked services. To facilitate future purchases, we send your Payment Information to our third party payment processor (Braintree Payments). We consider your Payment Information and billing address private and do not make such information public. We collect and store information created by your purchases made through our Services ("Transaction Data"). If you register your credit or debit card with SparkFellowship for card-linked services, we receive information about the card transactions from a third-party payment services provider or card network ("Registered Card Data"). Transaction Data and Registered Card Data may include the merchant's name and the date, time and amount of the transaction. SparkFellowship uses Registered Card Data to verify eligibility for card-linked services, and may also use Registered Card Data to limit the number of offers available to you and keep track of your offers.

Third-Parties and Affiliates: SparkFellowship uses a variety of third-party services to help provide our Services and to help us understand and improve the use of the Services, such as Google Analytics. These third-party service providers may collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, such as cookies or your IP address. Law and Harm: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, we may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process or government request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect SparkFellowship's rights or property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defenses or objections that you may have to a third party's, including a government's, request to disclose your information.

Business Transfers and Affiliates: In the event that SparkFellowship is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Policy will apply to your information as transferred to the new entity.
